About Me

I am twenty one year old young woman who lives on a small  farm with my family.

My one highest desire is to follow Jesus and lift him high. To proclame His Love to every one on the face of this earth. To know Him as Lord of my life. To glorify Him and enjoy Him forever!

I am a big reader, I learned to read when I was seven. My favorite book of the bible is Exodus I really like to read the prophet books of the bible especially Jeremiah, Isaiah, Habakkuk and Joel. Of the new testament I like Luke, Revelations is one of my favorites,Ephesians, I&II Corinthians,............. Some of my favorite books to read are: "The rare collectors series",(and my favorites out of them are "The Lamp Lighter" and "House Of Love") "The Door In The Wall", "A Home For Bunny" was my favorite to check out at the library as a child, "Little Lips Shall Praise Thee" was my favorite quiet-time book when I was little.

I love to sing. I like to sing with my whole heart, just letting it all out. I love to sing together with all those that I love. Doing this:"Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord"Here are some of my favorite songs to sing: Jesus All For Jesus, What A Friend We Have in Jesus, Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing, Be Thou My Vision, The Battle Belongs To The Lord, I Cannot Tell, He's The Lily Of The Valley, There's A Mighty River Flowing, Morning Has Broken, Days Of Elijah, Jesus Be My Heart's Desire, Joyful Joyful We Adore Thee, and many many more!I have been playing the guitar for seven years. I have been playing/practicing the fiddle/violin for three years. Nine years ago on a thanksgiving evening I was at a friends house, one of their girls was playing a violin. Ever since that day I have had the desire to master this instrument. I love to turn my thoughts into song. The Lord has gifted me with some very special songs that are strait from His heart to mine. I want my voice to be always for the Lord, I have given it to Him. I want others to see and hear Him and Him alone!

I like to knit, make yarn from our sheep and dye it with wild crafted dyes that I find out in the woods. I like to make felt with the wool. I want to make a felt rug. I like to do things that people did thousands of years ago. Figuring out how to make stuff without all this modern junk. Like, making cheese without any mold powders and cultures, Making bread without any yeast, preserving fruits and vegetables without canning or freezing. I really like ethnic ways of living and regional living. Wearing international old world style clothes. Making natural leaven flat breads on a clay oven. Cooking over an open fire. Basket weaving with wild crafted materials that I gather along the roads, rivers and hedges.Wild berry picking with my family. Picking morels

I love the snow! cross country skiing is my winter pastime. I love my Lake! I like BIG trees. I like to walk in the woods.I love fall colors. I really want a horse. There are so many trails around here that would be just perfect for a horse and rider.I like dressing up little kittens. Taking walks with a little child on my shoulders.

It is hard for me to write letters, but I like getting letters in the mail. So as you can probably understand it is a very rare and exciting happening when I find a letter addressed to me!

I have a green an yellow parakeet her name is Forsythia. I really like circle skirts. and fancy blouses

My favorite flower is the pansy. My mother got me a pansy mug for my birthday years ago, it is a treasure to me.

I love to have tea. I tried to have a tea party once. Everything turned out wrong! The cake tasted like bread with sweet butter. Nobody wanted tea, as it was so hot(it was in hottest time of summer!) I invited five friends, every one just wanted to drink the lemonade. The nice thing to be glad about was that I was with my dearest friends.

I like to stay up almost all night on new years eve. Me and my sister always plan something to do to celebrate. Two years ago we stayed up until two o clock in the morning, running barefoot races in the snow under the moonlight, rolling in big snow drifts until we were covered from head to feet in powdery snow then we came in. Slowly our nightgowns are thawing out and getting damp. We go up stairs trying to be quiet so as not to wake the ones who have already been sleeping for awhile. Then we dress up all prim and proper like ladies and have "tea" with our dollies and pretend we are little girls once again!I love doing enjoyable things with my younger sister.

This writing was a tag that I did awhile back on my blog and I thought it would pretty much give you an idea about me
